When you say 6" standard pipe, do you mean schedule 40 6"? Also what would be better black pipe painted or galvanized? What is the shipping weight of a T21?

Yes 6" sch 40 steel structural pipe (standard kind).
NOT cast iron.  I dont know what you mean by black pipe...  Galvanized is very good but availability varies.  Paint is an acceptable finish on the pipe for sure. shipping weight approx 450lbs
